Good news - the KL Mayor announced the Jalan Alor name remains for that iconic street. Finally they have come to their senses. Maybe they can give pointers to the National Fatwa Council, which claims they will be announcing a ruling on yoga soon. Sounds very ominous...but let us wait and see, when the official annoucement is made.

yes, but you have to wonder how much money spent on this ridiculous exercise - changing the signs, hiring a brand consultant(?), creative agencies, calling for meetings (with buffet meals)...
good. the other day saw the sign also ppl peeled off the name of Kejora. haha ....

Just when I thought things were improving with the name Alor sticking, I read the article you referred to "... who have taken up yoga to stop practising it as it could deviate from their belief". Oh my ... Oh my!

i totally dont understand the yoga thingy. i do yoga myself, it teaches me to stretch which helps all internal organs. thats all. nothing about chanting or religion . its just a form of exercise.
