Weekend Cat Blogging (WCB) 64

I'm hosting Weekend Cat Blogging (WCB) this weekend in the absence of Clare of
eat stuff. Recently I noticed my WCB number count is entirely different from everyone else's because I posted an extra WCB post a few weeks back when Clare was away. Sorry about that but since it's extremely difficult for me to undo my posts, can you all skip WCB 63 and jump straight into WCB 64 onwards. Thanks so much.

On to my kitties - I was snapping pictures of these two and they decided it was time for some hide and seek behind the curtain. In the picture above, you can't see Fluffy as she's well hidden under those curtains but Ms. G definitely knows she's behind them and waits patiently to strike.

Patience pays off as Fluffy's tail emerges and now Ms. G moves in for the kill! Time to attack that pesky little fluff ball says, Ms. G as she always steals my food and hugs from my mummy. It wasn't much of a fight since I was around to break it up when it got violent.

I'm sure you wish to see more of Fluffy besides her tail so here's a snap of Fluffy hiding under the antique chairs just before the curtain incident.

Do send me your links with kitty pictures and stories for this weekend. You can leave them under Blogger's comments on the right hand side or Haloscan Comments for Non Blogger users on the left hand side. Alternatively email me at with the links.

This weekend, check out:
  • Babaganoosh from Passionate Nonchalance who is in a kind of fix with his fur;
  • Upsie from What Did You Eat? who has found a new love for the yellow kayak;
  • Kamikaze from I Got 2 Shoes who zaps people that contemplate leaving him for a holiday;
  • Colin from The Westering Hills who tries to get comfy in his new basket;
  • Sweet Molly from Kaji's Mom who looks so adorable on the sofa;
  • Luna from who does Dell laptop field inspections on her spare time;
  • Maruschka from Rosa's Yummy Yums who loves to laze on Mummy's bed;
  • Mao from Kross-Eyed Kitty who has taken possession of the newspaper;
  • Lucky from These Days in French Life who gets a bear hug from his dad;
  • Tess and Boots from The Hidden Paw who were rescued from the SPCA;
  • J2 and New Cat from Farmgirl Fare who live in a great cabin all by themselves;
  • Aggie from Kayaksoup who loves her cat food;
  • Adorable Tinies from Restaurant Widow who are looking for loving homes;
  • Mini from Catnip Annoymous who confesses her innocence;
  • One not too serious black kitty from House of the (Mostly) Black Cats;
  • The foster kitten from Scamperdude who is being taken care by Ellen and Jeff;

Thanks for hosting this edition of WCB!

Your cats look cute while playing hide and seek. Ms.G is really special; her colour is extreme! I've never seen such a beautiful red cat...

If you want to see Maruschka lazily lying on our bed, then here's my permalink:

Have a nice weekend!

Check out Mr. Mao and his newly-claimed newspaper

rosa - Thks abt Ms. G - she's such a sweetie but such a picky eater. Maruschka is such a cutie with her "give me a tummy rub" look.

kross-eyed kitty - Mao is a smart cat to fight over the paper with you.

Hi Boo,
Thanks for hosting WCB 64.
I love your cats Fluffy and Ms. G. The orange ones and the Torti ones are among my favorites. Do yours get along? Are they jealous of one another? Which one is the more dominant?

Hi Boo!

Thanks for hosting WCB. Great photos as always. Our post this week at Farmgirl Fare includes more photos of The Cat Cabin that J2 and New Cat live in:

(Plus a reminder about the big cats at the Wild Animal Sanctuary who really need our help--not just donations but spreading the word about their homeless plight. It's the only way we'll be able to save them. And the word is spreading! : )

D - it's okay to rant as I know how you feel. Tess and Boots are so adorable.

Bonnie loves cats - Sadly everyone teases the small torti as she's the youngest. Hence I have to rescue her most of the time.

Farmgirl - thxs for the reminder on the Big Cats and I love the cat cabin.

Linda - Aggie is so sweet to give her food smoochies

Lisa - hope they find homes as they are so adorable

hot mbc - Mini's lips are sealed and Boni is so adorable playing away.
