Weekend Cat Blogging (WCB) 17

It is weekend cat blogging time, so head over to Clare's eat stuff to share pictures of your kitties. If you have a dog and wish to share your pictures, there is Weekend Dog Blogging #3 at Sweetnicks.

This weekend, I thought I will feature some kitty cats that are looking for homes from the pet shop we frequent all the time to stock up our cat food. We visited them this morning and they are all so adorable.

This cutie pie which I am holding was found when it was a wee little kitten and has been bottle fed. It is now four months old and very people friendly. Not to sure if it is a girl or boy as I don't know how to check!

This shy kitty is the spitting image of my Kits except it is a one year old female cat who has been spayed after she had her litter of kittens. She is another adorable cat and very friendly.

This is one part of the twin kittens. One is male and one is female but I can't tell which one it is. Only two months old but has a face that can melt someone's heart.

This little fella knew how to pose straight away so we reckon it can become a super model cat next time. Part of the twins, I love the way how the bottle cap looks like a yellow hat on top of it's head.

If you wish to give any of these adorable kitties a loving home, do visit them at:

Hi! The kittens and cat are adorable, I hope you find homes for them. Your post title said "adopt," but I see you have a pet store -- are these kittens for sale or adoption? (In case I find some friends who are interested!) I will definitely visit your shop as soon as I can and see what you have in the way of pet supplies (already have 3 dogs, 2 cats and not able to take more now).

The top one is most decidedly a girl, as it's a tortoiseshell. (You can tell that she's both red and black.) That's pretty much only females - there *are* a few tortie boys but it's *very* unusual, and involves faulty chromosomes. So I think you can safely assume that it's a girl :)

3rd chimp - sorry, I did not clarify my statement, I don't own the pet shop, it is the one I go to regularly to buy food from. They take in strays which are up for adoption hence when I visited them this morning, I thought I will try to get them homes. Do see if your friends want to adopt them as they are all so cute.

clare - I hope they find homes, they are all so cuddly esp the big one who reminds me of my darling Kits.

catesa - the twins will be difficult to seperate as they play so well together.

anne - thanks for the info on the tortoiseshell cat. Very interesting stuff.

I have a lil tort that is the same interesting combination of colors. We call her a 'brindle' ... Her name is Carmel and I will post her picture tomorrow.. she's a love bug too. She lets my 4 yo son haul her around all day. She just lays there, purrs and looks somewhat pathetic. Have a great day!

heather - I can't wait to see your little sweetie.

linda - I wish I could adopt them too, they were all so cuddly.

Indira - supermodel and twin are so cute and adorable. I love how they both arm wrestle and play fight each other in their cage.

One of the pet shops in my neighborhood does the same thing. Every weekend, they bring cats that need to be adopted. It's a great idea. I hope the cats you've shown find a good home. ;-)

Paz - I hope they all get good homes too. This pet shop is very kind to strays - he keeps a bowl of food out for those who are hungry.

What a great thing you are doing, featuring the cats that need homes!

sweetnicks - It was not intentional, just struck me when I saw them at the shop on Sat morning. I usually play with the cats whenever I go there.
