A change from food today and since love should be in the air soon with V-day round the corner, I thought I'll share with all of you, pictures of this year's Valentine dolls from Momiji. Those talented people from the UK, have rejigged the traditional Japanese dolls to be funky and adorable with personalties of their own.

This year, the Valentine gals are found in Isetan Suria KLCC. As they are limited to 1,000 units only, these are all numbered and only available in small quantities for each country (seems Australia only has 150 units and I think Malaysia has about 10 units, from the number of boxes we counted last Friday at Isetan). Retailing at RM79.90 for 3 dolls, they make a really cute V-day present, don't you think? I had fun playing with them and snapping pictures yesterday in the garden, so check out the flickr set. There is also a Malaysian link for these handpainted dolls, the designer Kong Soo was an art college graduate student from KL.

Last year's economy was so bad that I couldn't plan anything grand this year... but I'd gotten her a classic watch... to commensurate our 2nd anniversary, Valentine's and her birthday... all fall near to each other... lol!
Any interesting idea on what to buy??? Something as nice as what you've bought but not so darn expensive will be good.
perfume? (delicious by DKNY is nice and lite) or maybe make it special, just cook a simple meal for her at home. She will definitely appreciate it and you save a lot of $$$$?
pass... she has sinus so no perfume :) I'm thinking of something creative.. no worries, thanks for the idea

The dolls are LOVELY...but a little beyond what I would spend. From the picture on the orange..they're pretty tiny..:)

the momiji dolls are back ... only have the I LOVE YOU edition only. I already grabbed 3 sets and left sets there. hehehe ....... fast or it is gone forever.
I wish I can have the colorful sets like the one you had boo .... so envy ...

All of them were so adorable and cute.
I got mine at KLCC Isetan but they had moved to the toys department. There were like 15 sets or so when I was there on Monday. So, get them while you can...
Leonard - they're also selling at Emma K in Bangsar Village II but so much more pricey - RM89.90.
These would be some awesome gifts to bangalore I could sen to my little girls. Do you know if they still make them?
