Rasa Fiesta Food Court @ Ikano Power Centre

More Ikano Power Centre pictures, this time these were taken with the old camera and on a day which we spent quite a lot of money at Ikea hence we decided to go budget on our food. The Rasa Fiesta food court is a favourite of mine versus the Food Junction in the Curve. We tried the food once at the Curve's food court which was horrible hence we never went back.

The food court is nice and well lighted hence the sterling quality of the pictures. Usually whenever I eat at this place, I will always order the Taiwanese beef noodles from the Noodles Paradise stall. This time round I had the glass noodles with soup. Sorry I can't remember how much it cost as I lost the receipt when my bag got snatched. Think it's around RM8 to RM9 for a bowl. Although the soup is not as nice as Taiwan House in Ampang, it's much cheaper here and offers a pretty substantial meal especially when you have not eaten any breakfast.

Splashie Boy had the Chicken Bulgogi from the next stall that serves Korean food. It's pretty good value too as that huge amount came in a set with rice, soup and a drink.

Another reason why we both love the food court is their tong sui selection. An all time favourite is the Cheng Tng that originates from Singapore and is like a leng chee kang except in this version they add sweet potato cubes. This particular dessert holds special meaning for both of us as we once entered a radio competition and won a small amount of money just by eating it.

I decided to try something different and had their herbal jelly with the pineapples and nata de coco. It's pretty refreshing but not much taste to the herbal jelly unlike the ones you get at Koong Woh Tong.

You are absolutely right about Curve's foodcourt. Food's horrible. There is far more variety at Rasa Fiesta.

Agree, Food Junction in Curve is dead looking. The interior is no where as bright n modern as Rasa Fiesta Food Court.

I like the selection of Tong sui n those ice desserts in Rasa Fiesta after a hectic shopping day in ikea :D

Honey Star - I think the place at the Curve is dying a very slow death as no one goes there.

Not sure how the beef noodles taste in Ikano. But one thing for sure, the Taiwanese Beef Noodle in Ampang Point (3rd floor near Post Office) has more customers than the tables allow. Tables are everywhere, extending from one corner to the other.

The have opened a shop front as well, just outside the Ampang Point, next to Habib Jewels but always lack of parking in that area.

I use to eat the plain noodle with beef soup (RM9.90 with one drink). But last week i tried the Dry Kon Loh Tanghoon style and am very very in love with it.

Try it when you are there next time! Maybe I will blog about it when I go there the next time?

Hahaha...
