Chris Salans from Mozaic, Bali @ Cuisine Studio, Tropicana Golf Club, Petaling Jaya

Here's something which may interest all your foodies. I just read in today's Star Metro the announcement that Chris Salans will be in town from this coming Sunday to next Tuesday. He's a modern French cuisine chef who runs a famous restaurant known as Mozaic in Bali. It's something you should not miss since he has experience garnered from the 3 Michelin star restaurant Lucas Carton in Paris and French Laundry run by the infamous Thomas Keller in Napa Valley. Most importantly, a friend of mine can vouch for his food which is excellent having tasted his cooking in another friend's wedding dinner.

Although there are 3 events: a cooking class/lunch, chef's table and tasting menu for Sunday and Tuesday, the most interesting will be the cooking class cum lunch. You get to see the step by step techniques on how to prepare the items plus dine on those items.

Give a call to book a space as seats are limited for the classes (ie. 12 pax only). Sadly I won't be going for this since I'm kinda broke but a friend is attending the Sunday class. For further details on contact nos and the full menu, click on the link to
