This weekend, let me share with you these interesting pictures I took today when I was having breakfast. I was happily sitting a table waiting for my order while Splashie Boy went to get the weekend papers. Suddenly the tree in front of me started to shake violently. I checked the ground but there were no earth movements so it definitely was no earthquake. Next thing I saw was a white cat emerging from the tree. Due to the nature of the tree and it's branches, it had become a natural bower for the kitty to sleep in.
A closer look at the tree indicated that there was one more kitty sitting up there. At first, it was wary when I approached, then when I started clicking away, it started protesting. You can't see clear pictures of the kitty since he's at the background but there's no mistaking that angry look on it's face in the second picture. It eventually emerged from the tree after I went off. However, I had a good chuckle that these two cats were so resourceful to discover this great hiding place.

Lovely pictures of the kitty in the tree!
ReplyDeleteSeems that he really didn't like you taking pics of him ;o)
puuuurrrs Kashim & Othello
Great pictures! Yes, that kitty doesn't seem to enjoy your presence...
ReplyDeleteastrid kashim and othello - he's a wild kitty hence he felt I was going to capture him that day but I was so amazed at him sitting at the tree.
ReplyDeleterosa - yeah, he definitely did not like me that day hence I very quickly took the pixs.
Oh such a good photo find! I am glad you had your camera ready to take the photos. I am also glad these 2 cats have a good resting spot away from predators.
ReplyDeleteLovely pics, beautiful kitty:)
ReplyDeletekitikata-san - they're not great pixs as I didn't want to focus too long on them as it was getting upset with me. I decided not to put a pix of the tree as I didn't want people to recognise the place.
ReplyDeletethxs pia k!
The kitty looks scary! Almost like a leapard! And I'm sure he/she appreciated the attention you were giving, even if it looks like he/she was protesting! :D
ReplyDeleteBoo, I love that cat! I'm finally back on line and my epic WCB post is up! Phew! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful kitty, even while protesting. Good thing you had your camera with you. My husband makes fun of me but I always have a camera in my purse for any "just in case I need to take a picture" or unexpected photo op!
