Mooncake Party for Flavours Magazine

Recently, a friend of ours was asked by Flavours magazine to host a Mooncake party for their September/October 2006 issue. Although it was way too early to be thinking of mooncakes and lanterns but we all got into the hang of it especially the kids who loved the lit up lanterns.

It was great fun seeing "the behind the scenes" action of a photo shoot. We also had lots of scrumptious food that day as my friend, Mau is an excellent cook. These prawns are just a sampler of what was served that night as we had a feast! Remember to buy a copy of the magazine to see and recreate all those yummy dishes such as Pomegranate Salad, Tofu and Lady Fingers with Spicy Calamansi Dip, Fruity Pilaf Rice, Papaya and Pork Rib Soup, Plum Sauce Chicken with Persimmon Dressing and Sweet and Sour Prawns with Pineapple.
