It's been ages since we ate at Fasta Pasta (the Australian pasta chain) over at Ikano Power Centre but ever since Splashie Boy saw Sloppy Joe Pizza on their blackboard specials, he has been dreaming of it! He loves American food after being exposed to it during his university days.
We finally got around to eating it before it was taken off the blackboard and it was yummy albeit messy just like a Sloppy Joe. There's no way to take a nice picture of the Sloppy Joe pizza(RM29.90+) as it didn't look great with all the meat mixture on top so sorry for the not too great picture. Basically it tastes like bolognaise meat mixture on top of pizza studded with meatballs and salami that you need to eat up before the pizza crust becomes soggy. Eating that pizza started both of us reminsicing about great pizzas we have had i.e. the enormous Chicago Pan Pizzas.

Since there was so much meat and tomato sauce in that pizza, we chose a vegetarian pasta. Strangely all the vegetarian raviolis have dissapeared from the menu which is sad as I liked them. We settled with the Rotelle Broccoli (RM18.90+) which was dissapointing since it did not have a lot of broccoli! It tastes pretty okay as they sprinkled spicy chilli flakes and the cream sauce was not too rich. Another gripe about the place is they seem to have done away with the bread they used to serve before your meal and the ice water - now you need to order mineral water by the bottle. Must be a cost cutting exercise in view of the rising costs nowadays.
