Weekend Cat Blogging (WCB) 37

Meow everyone,

This weekend, I am featuring the latest additions to Mum's "cat shelter", teeny weeny calico kittens just born beginning of February to the neighbour's cat.

Mum is not sure why but this time round, the mother cat transferred them from her own house across the road to our house. (Usually the kittens grow up to a certain age and then start creeping over to our house) She suspects it could be that she did not like her other nest due to the heavy rains we are experiencing every day. Anyway, Mum has made her a new nest with a huge printer box which she seems to like.

The kittens are very very tiny hence Mum had to hold them up to take pictures. They're both calico just like their mother and highly likely to be female.

One has more brown hair versus the other one who is darker. Both will have fluffy longish hair like their mother and straight tails. Sadly, the neighbour does not want them at all - she has also threatened that she does not even want the mother cat so Mum feels she is running a temporary "cat shelter" at home. We will have to put up the calico kittens for adoption so if anyone of you are interested to take them home, drop Mum a line at
boo_liciouskl@yahoo.com

Take care and lots of love, hugs and meow kisses

They are so tiny and adorable. Now all they do is eat and sleep. Am sure they will be even cuter when they start moving around.

  10. Boo, your mummy has a giant heart...you don't even want to know what happens to most little unwanted kitties.

Make sure you take good care of your new sisters, they are very frail...even though they have the biggest claws of any tiny kitten I've ever seen!

I don't understand why people don't spay and neuter their animals...it's very sad.

  11. GK - Mummy is a real softie when it comes to us kitties.

auntie catesa - I fed-ex them to you?

uncle mark - time for simba to have a friend?

auntie linda - that lady is such a meano. She wanted to even kick her own faithful kitty away.

lucky - I hope we find them homes too!

kross eyed - I hope we get lucky with giving them away too.

it's only fuel - yes, very big claws and yeah, we don't know why pet owners are more responsible. So sad as so many little orphans outside in the world.

    Lots of love

  14. They are deliciously cute!
I would love to have one of those sweet hairy balls...

It's great to see what you do for those cats as animals deserve to be treated decently and with respect; they also have a soul and are not objects! Good people like you are a blessing...

  15. auntie rosa - Mum has a soft spot for kitties. If not, she would not have adopted me.

trinette - I wish you could too! They are starting to wander and stand up. Soon their eyes will be turning colour.

    Lots of love
