I love the flavor and taste of canned abalone and one day I want to eat abalone like 'abalone kings' do: braised in sauce and served whole, like a steak, washed down with a good white wine. Cut with a knife and fork of course. Meantime, it's still cheaper to slice abalone thinly and share with the family. I love this dish. It's such a special treatJane Kaylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11605930439183290649noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12324774.post-74712338521436938492011-02-28T16:11:32.472+08:002011-02-28T16:11:32.472+08:00Woo...your post is so great and detailed

Love yr Chef Uwe's food and it's amazing to discover, he used to work in KL before he moved to HK.

foodbin - yes, a lot of eating for this trip.

C&C - yes, burning the midnite oil everynite. Kinda feels like I work 2 jobs nowadays. Thxs for the diorama praise, I do love the Pen's features and that zoom is amazing.

Pure Glutton - broken in bite size portions by area so easier to zoom in.

chui sui - this time I didn't get to eat much Chinese desserts. Never mind, there's always another trip (I hope!)

minchow - ah yes, the hustle is how I felt before I left running around. I packed like a few hours before I left and started resting only when I reached there.

qwazymonkey - am sure u can eat more than me and I think it'll be so cool when you add your comic touch to the food - definitely very unique take on it.

unkaleong - luckily we had food bloggers too so it was fine. You haven't seen my wine friends, they're amazing, non stop drinking almost 18 hours for 2 weeks when we were in Italy.

sc - yes, a good mix here so u get the whole feel of HK.

kgboycitygal - sing heung yeun is quite good I reckon. I like the sweet tomato taste. Kinda preferred it to the cheese sauce place even though the grilled pork neck was yummy. can't wait to see yr HK & disneyland posts.

Razlan - sigh, I know, small blog posts will be better and also drags it out. Probably also better for SEO purposes but my last HK posts were stalled so I know no way I'll get it done. Anyway, nice meeting you in HK. Hope to catch up with u if u ever return to Msia.

j2kfm - read slowly and savour I guess. Or that Sun Ki Cheese and Pork Neck noodles, really could do with much more cheesiness factor :D

I think I'm going to have to be less lenient when reviewing HK shops in the future, for our own good !
